Before his tragic death in 2018, Mac was quickly becoming one of the most notable and beloved contemporary artists. In the short time he was with us, Mac influenced and inspired the masses.

It's the first time he's performed tracks from his new album, Swimming, in front of an audience. On "2009," he rubbed his chin with clinched eyes, looking like a young man who's beginning to crack the code. Backed by a piano loop and a string quartet, he reflected on his journey's peaks and valleys thus far. I ain't asking why no more I know I'll take it if it's mine I don't stay inside the lines It ain't 2009 no more Yeah, I know what's behind that door With nearly a decade under his belt at 26 years old, these words ring like an artist twice his age. We were introduced to Mac Miller via 2011's XXL Freshman Class, which featured a special crop of MCs such as Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill and YG, all of whom are now considered in the upper echelon of hip-hop. After his big splash, he's been able to find a groove and consistently release quality rap records, ultimately keeping his name in the conversation with the other young greats. His 2011 album, Blue Slide Park, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the first independently distributed debut album to do so since 1995's Dogg Food by Tha Dogg Pound. These consecutive triumphs amassed plenty of fame, fortune and insurmountable obstacles, causing a stumble here and there. Throughout the years, however, Mac has brushed himself off and put it in the music. For this performance, Mac Miller invited frequent collaborator Thundercat, who graced the Tiny Desk last year and will join Mac on tour this fall. Thundercat put on a dazzling shaker routine and played the deep centerpiece bass line on "What's The Use?" These Swimming iterations don't veer far away from the recorded versions, but here, his lyrics seem easier to interpret under live instrumentation. Set List "Small Worlds" "What's the Use? (Feat. Já é do conhecimento de muitos que o Windows é um sistema operacional mais visado quando o assunto é vírus. Isso é bem óbvio, pois o mesmo tem uma base maior de usuários, logo, é mais inteligente por parte dos mal intencionados criarem armadilhas para um sistema que oferece mais “vítimas” em potencial… E aqui temos os fatos! O windosws tem milhares de vírus que já estão espalhados por aí e são corriqueiros por todo o mundo. (Quem nunca ouviu um “essas crianças mexeram nesse pc ai e encheu de vírus”… E aqui temos outro fato: é muito mais difícil você encontrar um vírus no MacOS do que no Windows! Fora que, raramente aparecem brechas de segurança, e quando aparecem, são rapidamente corrigidas, visto que, a Apple tem um controle quase que absoluto em seus produtos. E sim, meus macs recebem diversas atualizações, sejam de segurança como comuns com novidades para o sistema… 2a vantagem: Programas exclusivos! Na verdade, essa é uma vantagem para ambos sistemas, tem alguns programas que só rodam no windows e vice versa… Acontece que, a Apple tem alguns programas exclusivos para o Mac que são referência em suas categorias. Eu posso dar como exemplo o Logic Pro, que é um ótimo software pra quem trabalha com áudio. E também tem o Final Cut Pro, que é um ÓTIMO editor de vídeos, é o que eu uso aqui tem mais de 10 anos, oferece um ÓTIMO custo x benefício, tenho atualizações constantes, funciona perfeitamente com o Mac, renderiza rápido, exporta também, etc… Eu por exemplo, não sei editar em outro software, aprendi sozinho no FCPX e não largo mão dele. É MUITO bom mesmo! 3a vantagem: Integração com outros produtos Apple! Hoje em dia você tem muitas facilidades ao usar produtos da apple que melhoram o seu dia a dia e produtividade. Você pode por exemplo, desbloquear o seu Mac só por estar usando seu Apple Watch; (basta habilitar isso nos ajustes do Mac) Como também pode importar uma foto tirada com o seu iPhone diretamente para o Mac de forma instantânea! Outra coisa: pode começar a escrever um email e continuar na hora no seu celular e vice-versa; pode abrir um site no safari do iPhone e continuar diretamente no Mac, assim como copiar alguma coisa no iPhone e colar no Mac! (Tudo isso é claro, funciona o contrário também). Pode usar os AirPods no Mac e se receber uma ligação no iPhone, atender nele, o AirPods consegue trocar automaticamente para o iPhone e por ai vai… fazer FaceTime através do Mac, utilizar o iMessage etc… 4a vantagem: Esse agora é interessante: melhor suporte a processadores ARM. Já não é novidade para ninguém que a Apple migrou da arquitetura X86 dos processadores Intel para os chipsets ARM produzidos por ela mesmo, com a chegada dos Chips M1. Acontece, que a Microsoft também desenvolveu uma versão do Windows com suporte ao ARM, mas ele é MUITO mais limitado que o Mac. No Windows, pouquíssimos apps funcionam, e os que tão OK só podem ser baixados pela loja, que tem uma variedade BASTANTE limitada por enquanto… Já no mac, a Apple trouxe o Rosetta 2, uma tecnologia de tradução de código que permite que aplicativos feitos para a arquitetura X86 funcionem normalmente em processadores ARM. E olha, vou te dizer que, como usuário desses novos chips a mais de 1 ano, eu posso afirmar aqui que o Rosetta 2 funciona perfeitamente. Tem até notícia ai na internet que fala sobre apps para windows funcionando MELHOR em Macs com M1...
