The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask is one of the few direct sequel Zelda games and one of the creepiest, most somber of entries in the series. Besides the iconic items we are familiar with in Link's inventory we also got a collection of masks for powers that enable new abilities for puzzles and affected how NPCs treat you depending on which mask you wear. In this Completionist episode I played both versions of the game; the classic ROM and the Majora's Mask 3D release. Releasing Majora's Mask on the Nintendo 3DS led to some quality of life improvements, such as displaying a map on the lower screen and the much appreciated improved time control that allows me to jump to a specific hour. AND they added what every good game needs: a fishing game! But what makes Majora's Mask truly unique is not it's masks or amazing 1 year crunch time of development, but the thematic elements of hope and sadness and how they are all part of the healing process. Bomb boosts are faster, and it's faster still to damage boost off of the bubbles in the area. I think I got this mixed up with traveling from Gorman Racetrack to Great Bay, where using Epona actually is faster because she's already there without calling her.

The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask for the Nintento 64 N64 was made in a time crunch and is ironically a game about saving the world in a time crunch. Nintendo really went there with this awesome yet bizzare Zelda Title for the N64 back in the year 2000. Majora's Mask also has some the best dungeon design of the entire series even though it has the fewest dungeons in a single Zelda game in the entire series. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998 and became an instant classic. It was praised by many and is still often called the best game of all time. It was the first 3D-Zelda game, so it was miles different then A link to the Past and other games in the franchise. Gamers were curious what the next release would be in the Zelda Universe, and it turns out that they didn't have to wait a long time until the direct sequel to ocarina of time came out... It's the year 2000 and Majora's Mask was released. We got a Zelda game that was much darker compared to the releases that came before it. Themes of death, lonliness and fear give the game a more mature feel. Another new mechanic was the time limit. You basically relive the same 3 days over and over, having to reset time using the song of time, or else you and everyone in clock town get killed by the giant moon in the sky... It's safe to say tha Majora's Mask is one of the best games ever made and should be played by many. But a question has to be answered first: What is the Best Way To Play Majora's Mask? I ranked every way to play Majora's Mask from worst to best and explained why. If you have a suggestion of another game I should make a video like this.
