As a new youtuber, I’ve consistently had this import problem: Why premiere won’t import video to timeline? Instead, premiere pro only imports audio to timeline! It turns out that only the audio codec is being recognized and not the video. But there’s a quick and easy fix! I didn’t know this method until recently, so I’d like to share it with anyone who had the same problem as I did. There are many ways to fix this issue; I’m only sharing what worked for me. Is your GoPro footage being imported into Adobe Premiere Pro as audio? Adobe premiere pro video not showing? Have you searched the entire interwebs only to be let down? Well let's fix it! I hope this tutorial helps! I was unable to find a lot of information about this and was let down several times. After multiple hours of trying to fix it (rebooting, tracking, redownloading the footage) nothing worked. This video may help you, if it does, please like and subscribe for more great content! Thank you! Also, I performed windows updates the afternoon after I found the fix, and now the issue is not happening any longer. I came upon this in a recent project and decided to record a quick tutorial on how to quickly fix a simple synchronization issue. The issue came because one of the cameras was only recording audio on channel 2 and by default premiere only uses channel 1 for sync. So changing the sync method to "mix down" make it look at both channels. Hopefully this saves you some time! Need music for your project?
